Father’s, Friend’s & Fire Batch 002 Virginia Perique is a flake cut blend manufactured by Jeremey Reeves at Cornell & Diehl for Erik Stokkebye for Erik’s 4th Generation Tobacconist brand. comprised of Red Virginia, Burley, Black Cavendish, and St. James Perique.

It has a nice sweet slightly fruity tin note. The taste is sweet and creamy with notes of pear, plum, bread, and oak. As I smoked down the bowl, the flavors essentially reversed, with the oak becoming most prominent and the plum and bread playing the supportive parts. It has a pleasant room note. There is a very slight spice in the retro, and flavors of dark stewed fruit, brown sugar, and fig on the finish. Pairs nicely with coffee, black tea, and bourbon.
