One of the brands that fell victim to Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s acquisition and subsequent dismantling of Mac Baren and Sutliff was Joe Lankford’s Seattle Pipe Club blends. Thankfully, Joe’s blends have been resurrected by Seattle Pipe Club and Cornell & Diehl, who are using the original recipes and even the original machines on which they were produced. In this video, I review the Cornell & Diehl produced release of the wildly popular Plum Pudding Special Reserve. Here, I give my first impressions of the blend on its own. In a future video, I will be doing a side by side with the original Plum Pudding Special Reserve.
