This past week, I became the interim pastor at West Newbury Congregational Church in West Newbury, MA. Yeah, I am still at Twins….this is a part-time call. But as I have said before, the “Pastor” in “Pastor Padron” is legit. This is my message from Sunday, June 22, 2025. My text was Luke 5:17-26, where Jesus and the people He is talking to are surprised by a paralyzed man lowered through a roof by his friends, hoping that Jesus would heal him. The first thing Jesus does is something that no one, even the paralytic, did not ask for–He forgave him. Why? That is what this message is about. The equipment used to record this needs some reconfiguring and maybe some upgrades. I did play with it some and it is better than it was. I would love to hear your thoughts.
