I will be leading an interview with Chris and then opening it up to questions from the audience! Chris is the 4th generation of leadership of Topper Cigar, founded in 1894! We will be smoking his 130th anniversary cigar, the aptly named 1894 Toro, a cigar that features a PA-grown Habano wrapper and USA-seed tobacco grown in the Dominican Republic. We will be talking about the history and importance of American-grown tobacco in the cigar industry, taking the reins of a 130-year-old company (now in a debate with JC Newman over who is the oldest family-owned company operating in America), and where he sees the industry moving.
